Joshua Bernard Design
Interiors with a distinct point of view and an ease that invites you in.
Joshua Bernard is the founder and principal of Joshua Bernard Design. His work balances a bold visual point of view with the comfort of rooms that are meant to be lived in, creating interiors that feel collected, personal, and grounded in the way a client moves through their day.
Raised in a small town in the Arkansas Delta, Joshua’s creative instincts appeared early. He was drawn to the emotional pull of interiors long before he entered the profession, developing an eye for how a room can shape a mood, hold a memory, and express the people who live there.
Today, the studio approaches each project as a complete environment. Architecture, color, light, art, and furniture are considered together, with a particular attention to tactile materials, layered finishes, sculptural forms, and the details that make a space feel resolved without ever feeling overworked.
Joshua’s 2025 debut at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas brought his work to a wider audience. His richly textured hallway and adjoining bathroom were recognized for their warmth, depth, and dramatic restraint, earning national attention from PaperCity and a feature in D Home Magazine naming him a rising Dallas designer to know.
Across renovations, new construction, and furnishings, Joshua Bernard Design creates spaces that are expressive without being performative: interiors with character, comfort, and the lasting sense that they belong exactly where they are.
